Antique Beech
We reclaim Antique Beech from the tobacco barns cladding the central Kentucky countryside. Beech is an American Hardwood, that has a janka hardness rating similar to Red Oak. It is salvaged from the siding and framing materials, which gives the finished product lots of character ranging from weather checks from the exterior siding, to nail holes from the rafters and roof boards. Beech has a nice range of colors from almost white to an peach orange hue. We typically mill this floor from 3-6″ wide, due to how the material was used, but have the ability to run wider plank as well. Please call today to check availability and lead time.
